The puffed chair was designed for a creative event at Moormann in which participants were challenged to reinterpret a piece from the collection in a humorous way.
Inflating the iconic Pressed Chair explores the tension between a familiar shape and an unusual volume. This transforms the originally rigid structure into a playful sculptural statement. Contrasting the Pressed Chair's design with a bold, contemporary aesthetic, the piece stands as a distinct exploration of visual wit and formal reinterpretation.
